My design process
A design-thinking methodology with great focus on co-creation and users
01.
Debrief
When presented with a project I’d like to take the time to get to know the goals, vision of the product, and roadmap in mind. This will allow me to create a product that works well for you, your business, and your end users.
02.
Research
After the debrief, I want to get to know the audience, the context they will use the product, and what needs they want to complete. But also look into existing/competing products and analyze what they are doing well. Example methods: Market research, 1 on 1 user interviews, focus groups, event storming, and tree testing.
03.
Sitemap
When the first ideas start growing I’d like to take the time to map all desired functionalities to get an overview of the full product. And how users can navigate through the product.
04.
Design
After gathering all information from end users and stakeholders I start building and creating ideas. Where I try to incorporate as much co-creation as possible. Asking for feedback throughout the full process.
05.
Test and Iterate
Through multiple rounds of feedback, I gather data to measure if the prototypes meet the desired goals of the stakeholders and meet user expectations. By analyzing usage a continuous optimization process starts, improving on the initial business goals.
